I worked with BEA before and also after Oracle acquisition, as weblogic consultant.
They have just linked the BEA edocs to Oracle site as the content gonna be static
The reason they chose to move the forum was due to login/technical issues. Continues updates keep happening and sooner the weblogic eng will be participating in the forum with their credentials.

Thanks for the reply. I guess my frustration with the forums is that there is a body of work out there already linked in Google from years of forum posts for Weblogic. That stuff isn't available anymoe which frankly is ridiculous. They should have put them in a read-only state but left them alone.

Thanks for the pointer Justin. I did not see this from the Oracle forums page since not only was it at the bottom but you had to click on the Archived Forums link to see it. I'm glad that I was wrong and that Oracle did provide a read-only copy. What would have been ideal in my mind would have been to keep the URLs the same so that Google searches would work as they used to. At least the information is out there so I stand corrected. Thanks again for the pointer!
